Tradewinds Hotel & Convention Centre The Tradewinds is located at the town of Lami, which is on the main Queen's Road about 10 minutes before Suva when coming from Nadi. It is alongside the Bay of Islands, a picturesque location with lovely views from the bars, restaurants and bay view rooms. Sailing vessels can be seen moored in the bay and alongside the hotel. A swimming pool is located bayside also, so a relaxing spot with views of the water and offshore islands. The Convention Centre is found across the road in landscaped gardens alongside a lake.

This hotel is just a short distance from the capital but provides a restful place to stay. A shuttle service is available when you wish to go into Suva city. The Tradewinds Hotel & Convention Centre was formerly known as the Raffles Tradewinds, but is now managed by Accor Hotels.

The Tradewinds hotel offers its guest a choice of 110 upgraded rooms with views of the garden or a picturesque bay dotted with sailboats. Deluxe rooms have 2 queen-sized beds and balcony, and can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults. The Poolside rooms have a double bed and a single bed and open out to a patio overlooking the pool. Suites have 2 bedrooms with 3 queen-sized beds and an extra bed on request, plus full kitchen facilities, dining area and patio. All rooms have a bath with shower over, hairdryer, tea and coffee making, refrigerator, direct dial ISD telephones, TV with CNN and 3 video channels. Two children under 16 sharing with their parents have free accommodation.
